Question: i'm a gaijin in japan and i made some japanese friends also penpals and they met me once,twice but suddenly they stopped reply mails and didn't meet. its not 1 or 2 friends all of them. why do they ended the friendship soon. are you all japanese people like this?
Answer: no not all the japanese ppl. i am japanese and i have some foreigner friends. i think many japanese ppl r very shy especially to foreigners, so i'm guessing they r having hard time finding subjects.. what to talk about. so that makes them stop replying back to u. could be some other reasons but this is what i think. if u want to keep them as friends, u should be patient and keep talking to them from many different sides, so they might open up their minds. pls don't think all the japanese ppl r like that. and good luck. ( i am shy sometimes lol )
